The process is a series of converges and diverges....you set the focus for the question or problem....you check out you have the ‘right’ question by diverging or unpacking it....you then converge onto the ‘right’ question....then you diverge, big time, with any the brainstorming tools you want....then you need to converge again, harvest the best ideas from the bunch....maybe that’ll be it....maybe you’ll want to diverge again on one of the great ideas that emerged....
